Big Blue Test – in pictures

If you are reading this, you probably know that today is World Diabetes Day. You also probably know about the Big Blue Test (whose video got over 100,000 views so $75,000 will be donated to children in need).

Here is what the Big Blue Test looked like for me:

First, while I tested and exercised, the cats did this.

I got my WiiFit board set up and ready to go.

prepping to work out

At 2 pm, I checked my blood glucose.

Then I hopped (not really, you aren’t supposed to jump on it) on the WiiFit board and got to work.

After 14 minutes, I checked my blood glucose again.

There was an immediate reduction in my numbers – the power of exercise!

If you want to see the longer term effects of exercise, check out the Dexcom almost a half an hour later.

Love seeing big blue test in pictures. I almost did Wii fit, but decided I could still watch football if I just used a step stool and did step ups.

BTW, what is your Wii fit board up on top of? I like that.

Nice job posting the set of Dexcom pictures, they really show the power of exercise.

Unfortunately we were hosting a end of soccer season party, so I couldn’t do the Big Blue Test. I’ll make up for it today at the gym.

Very cool! Love the photo version! Mine went down 50 points after a jog. Cool!

I love the visuals in this – makes the effect of exercise seem even more powerful. I love how you showed the Dex pictures describing that the drop continued for a while too.
