If all goes according to plan, by the time you are reading this I will be driving across the state to visit Scott and Kerri. I couldn’t let them get so close, and not go see them right?! Forget the fact that my flight arrived back in the state around midnight the night before. Some opportunities are just too good to pass up!
I did the same review last year, and Im pretty sure its a tradition across the blogosphere, so here are my 2010 moments in review.
January: The first thing I did last January was report on what I did on my Christmas vacation.
February: Every February, I “celebrate” the anniversary of my diabetes diagnosis. Seven years and counting.
March: Six weeks after the devastating earthquake, I was able to travel to Haiti on a mission trip.
April: It took me a month to finish telling the story about my trip. On a diabetes note, I ended the month thinking about my complicated relationship with food.
May: The first topic of May was friendships. I was blindsided by some news of one friend, and cheered up by a quick chat with two others.
June: The bad news I got at the beginning of May left my blog silent for most of June. I did manage to squeak out two posts, even though one of them was just about how I was overwhelmed.
July: The beginning of July brought the second part of my Roche Social Media Summit review.
August: I was shocked in August to find out that the a non-pumping patient only gets fifteen minutes scheduled with their endocrinologist. That hardly seems like enough time to make sure everything is on track!
September: In September I shared my belief that “Creeping is Caring” – a post about my time on the Just Talking podcast.
October: Two words. Team Ninjabetic.
November: Halloween. Steel Magnolias. SAE. All in one blog post.
December: I believe in celebrating Christmas for as long as possible, so of course my first post of December would be about getting all my decorations up and ready.
This year was full of adventures and changes that I could never have predicted. I can’t wait to see what is in store for 2011.
Happy New Year!
