I think one of the best comments we received as a group this weekend at Simonpalooza was from a new friend who heard our story and remarked that we all looked so “happy and healthy.”
Whether you are newly diagnosed or have been living with diabetes longer than I’ve been alive – connecting to other people with diabetes is a powerful reminder that you are NOT ALONE!
and that…
You Can Do This!

Jess says:

Wow that’s an amazing video… and it only scratched the surface. So many great people in one place…
It was amazing how little diabetes was really talked about. Because all of are more than diabetes, we came together as people first, friends.
I just wish more of us could have been here and more of these type of things happened all over the world
Simon reminded us tho, that the things we do online.. the communities, blogs, twitter chats are important, that we share our stories so that others can benefit from our experiences, our mistakes and our triumphs
This weekend? Simonpalooza was a triumph.
I’m with the band.
