Blue blood

What’s up Sanofi?

Out of the blue, Apidra just changes packaging colors. Is this in honor of Diabetes Awareness Month?

I don’t know about you, but I’m feeling a little blue about it.

Just kidding, I’m not. I like the sassy new look.

It took me by surprise when OneTouch test-strips turned blue. I wonder if the different packaging is a US-only thing. You know, because international insulin smuggling is big business.

I get a chuckle out of the use of boldface on that new box: “One 10 mL vial”. That way we know they didn’t try to squeeze two in there.
