Off the wall

If you occasionally walk into walls – and I’m not saying I do…

Okay, I am actually saying that I walk into walls.

And doors.

And chairs.

And bookcases.

And kitchen counters.

But if you occasionally walk into walls, it becomes a little difficult to actually read the numbers on your pump screen.

Thankfully the Animas pump actually uses a screen protector for people like me and I was able to pick up some spares at TCOYD in Des Moines a few weeks ago.

It’s nice to actually be able to see the amount I am bolusing.

I do the SAME thing! I mostly end up breaking my MM pump clip though. LOL

Hopefully, that new, smaller Dex sensor (and the rumored-to-be-smaller Omnipod) will also be more forgiving to us wall-walker types.

🙂 I don’t walk into things, my tubing does though.

My tubing has never met a doorknob it doesn’t like and my pump has never been dragged along the floor like Linus’s blue blanket…

Yes it is! I told someone else with an Animas pump that I was getting a new protector and they didn’t even know they already had one on there! Check Bigfoot 😀
