Diabetes Blog Week: Empty but soon full

I was a little worried towards the end of the week as the posts continued to pile up, but I finally reached the end of my reader late Sunday night.

What are the odds that my 200 match the 200 that participated in Diabetes Blog Week? I think I’ve got a few to add!

Now my goal is to compare Karen’s list to the over 200 blogs already in my reader to see how many new friends I get to add.

A few posts I’ve set aside as favorites (to nominate for the Best of the ‘Betes Blogs, of course – hosted over here this time) so far:

As we wrap up another Diabetes Blog Week, let’s share a few of our favorite things from the week. This can be anything from a #DBlogWeek post you loved, a fantastic new-to-you blog you found, a picture someone included in a post that spoke to you, or comment left on your blog that made you smile. Anything you liked is worth sharing!

So many gems out there, and it’s going to take a while to catch up and get through them. Love all the ones you mentioned, and think they’re totally worth checking out. D-Blog Week is interesting in that it’s like the gift that keeps on giving – the actual posting may have come to a close, but reading on and finding new treasures out there continues on. Thanks for being a part of it and being on my reader and Karen’s list, Sara.

This is going to be a tough month for the “Best of…” selection committee! There are so many great ones out there this month. And I’ve not even close to being halfway through!

That’s still one of my favorite parts of #DBlogWeek – finding new blogs to read! 🙂
